Uses weird charging cable.

EDIT: Nvm, uses normal usb c cable. Has a weird cover over it to keep water out of it.

To expand on the other comments:

The charging cable is USB-C, which is good, but it only seems to charge with the given cable. This isn't great because it's not very long. It may work with others but it won't with any I've tried.

The second comment is the real killer of this device. The motor is so weak it is barely distinguishable from a regular toothbrush. You will not get a decent scrub by holding this thing in place. It really is that bad.

I found these in the clearance bin for $15 and still think I paid too much. Do not buy this product. You are better off with a normal toothbrush. For real.

That's good to hear. Looks like I may need to keep trying more cables. Regardless, that is a minor quibble compared to the ineffectiveness of this thing as an electric toothbrush. Do you also disagree that it barely vibrates and you still need to brush just like with a normal toothbrush for it to be effective in any manner? That's the real problem with this product.

I have no idea why you so much hate this toothbrush. I do use this product for traveling and also at the gym after working out daily, and i have no complaints. I believe many people buy this toothbrush for similar activities.

while this is a good deal for this item, i wouldn't recommend getting it. i think the appeal of this "phillips one" brand of toothbrush is centrally in as a travel electric toothbrush, especially if you get the one that uses AAA's. my normal phillips sonicare is too big to fit in my travel kit, and also i'd hate to run out of charge. with the AAA-powered version of this, i can reliably find batteries wherever in the world i am (because AAAs are everywhere) and also it's nice and portable.

I bought one on clearance at CVS last year and hate it. The cover won't stay closed over the brush at all so it just pops open all the time. And I mean every time. Plus the handle vibrates but not the brush. I love my main Sonicare brush, but this one stinks. Don't buy it at $5.

It's misleading that its USB charging is more property charging cable that's what most of the reviews mentioned and pictures showed.
Pass, I would rather get model 4100 for almost the same price with a powerful motor.

You have to buy the correct model to use with a regular USB C charger. I had to try like 3 of them (different model #s) to get the one (1200/07) with the correct charger cable.

Every time I see this piece of trash I gotta look out for the community. This toothbrush sucks. It barely vibrates at all. Not a real electric toothbrush. It makes a noise more than anything. Like placebo effect vibrations. Don't waste your money on this thing. It's basically a manual toothbrush that makes noise.
