I'll take the HCX and Optimizer processing over DV.
Not all content has DV, even then depending on the transfers, the Optimizer does so well the difference isn't that big.
You can look at Samsung Oled display threads to see how people don't miss DV.
If you play BR/DVD disc, the 420s processing would be a better choice with that.

For 4k blu rays with Dolby vision, this is ideal.
For FHD blu rays & DVDs, the 420 is better due to the upscaling processor.
For the best of both, get the 820 (which I chose)
