Dell has their previous gen Precision workstations on clearance. Both 14" 5480 and 16" 5680 are on discount.
I order the 5480 with i9-13900H, 64GB LPDDR5 RAM (Soldered so get all that you will need up front), 512GB SSD, and RTX 2000 Ada.
I changed warranty to 3 years basic on site. removed vpro, crowdstrike, and added 3 year long life battery. My config came out to $1,154.18
You can apply a dell 10% email discount and use credit card for additional savings.
My subtotal with 10% email discount was $1,038.76 before taxes.
This is a workstation class machine. (higher end than the Latitude and Vostro line of business machines).
My citibank credit card has 6% on dell purchases.

Do you have a link to get the 5680 customizer? All links on the site show Out of Stock for that.

I think the email is on a timer, last I checked it was exactly 1 hour after signing up that it would be sent
It also doesn't tell you if you aren't eligible, so if they think you aren't a new customer, the email will never come
