Honestly second that, the cases are great lol. And really, at this price for a mic like this, you can't go wrong. Perfect for getting started in sound, doing DIY stuff, or just an extra to toss into a kit. An SM57 is a much better mic but it is also literally 7 times more expensive.

Just in time, in for two!
I'm sure SM57 is better, but I may only use it once or twice a year, so SL 75C fit better in my case.

That's the idea, yes. But you can use any microphone for any purpose if it gives you the sound you want.

I'm gonna get this to compare with the Pyle (shure copies) mics I got for 15.00 from Amazon years ago. My Pyle mics (with a scarlet solo) have gotten so many compliments over the years, and I've used 1000+ mics as well with other focusrites. Maybe this is close enough. If not I'll probably gift it
