I can't imagine what Paperwhite 6 will offer. Other than color, the Paperwhite 11th gen is nearly perfect.

Wish they would allow us to use bluetooth clickers to switch the page left and right -- that would be badass. Color screens once matured will be lovely too. They should also move the power button to the top IMO. One other thing - stop spamming us with the Internet not connected for those of us who keep our kindles on airplane mode.

This comes with the Basic Pen. The Premium Pen is worth it.

Premium pen has a dedicated eraser and a built-in Shortcut button. I have it and don't think it's a big deal really. You flip pen over to erase rather than touch erase from little menu not much of a time saver.

Lower than Prime Day at Amazon (~$239).

On one hand, I am holding out for the Paperwhite 6 (due in <12 months), but my aging eyes may need a Scribe just for reading.

It's all about screen size for me. This kindle can actually display comics and other large format books, like programming text, without weird formatting. That alone makes this worth a buy especially since competing products are more than double the price. I didn't care to even try using the note taking feature.

I wish it allowed true annotations and integrated with other ecosystems.

Seems like they are still developing it... possible in a future update?

Same. I'm not sure what to add beyond color really. I only upgraded recently from my 2nd or 3rd gen to get the warm light because I enjoy reading at night. My original is still going strong even after 10 years of use, ended up giving it to a friend of mine.

If you ever decide to change for comics the Samsung S7 FE or newer equivalents are amazing for comics. I wanted a dedicated comic reader and kept seeing recommendations for it, but thought the 12.4" screen would be too big, but you do get used to it and comics look so good on it.

I bought the 16GB Scribe with a premium pen for a total out of pocket of $160 including tax a few days before prime day. Had to trade in a 12+ year old item with zero value for a 20% instant discount, and got 20% CB from a site. I am not including the $3 I got for trading in the 1st gen fire tv stick in the $160 total. Trade in 20% discount was instant without needing to actually send in the trade in item.

Love my Scribe. The display size is a game changer and makes reading so enjoyable. The premium pen is awesome to draw, doodle, etc.

I'd love for them to add the ability to rotate the screen 180 degrees. I miss being able to swap hands for holding like I could with the Kindle Oasis.
