I have the 21 qt version of this, I've owned it for an entire year and I keep it in my truck 24/7. I also use it while camping. My travel trailer has a 12v fridge in it but these are completely different. These are so efficient with their minimal power draw and truly amazing performance. I could literally write a book on why this product is superior to every cooler I've ever owned, and I've owned many over the years. It has voltage protection to keep your vehicles battery from draining if you leave it plugged up. I camp 2-3 times a month and haven't bought a bag of ice since I've bought it. The capacity isn't huge but that's exactly what I wanted bc it cools down very quickly and it still has plenty of room for most everything. I go to the grocery store when it's convenient and if I put my cold items in and don't worry about when I can get home. Through the week I keep it loaded with waters and no longer stop at convenience stores to pay $3 for a bottle of water. The whole family really does love this. I'm working in the field most days and I prep my lunches/snack sandwiches for the week and don't even bother with the fridge in the house. I know this review may seem over the top, but I won a yeti cooler in a raffle for my daughter's softball team last fall and I can't find a reason to use it. This is a great price and a quality product. I was concerned about longevity when I first ordered it but it has been nothing short of amazing. Your only regret will be waiting so long to make the purchase. There are several other brands that cost 3x-10x and I can't vouch for their quality bc I wasn't going to spend that kind of money but this is a no brainer in my opinion.
This size cooler will fit in a Tesla Model Y sub trunk BTW.

But it's a tiny bit smaller as a tradeoff. Listed as 21Q vs 23Q, and their own photos show 3x5=15 bottles vs 4x5=20.

I bought this same 23Q earlier in the year and just took it on a road trip last week, and it worked nicely to keep wine and produce cool for the whole day in the car. And before that, I used it as an emergency icemaker (filled with trays) for a house party.

Yeah I hate all the series with batteries. Most of us have portable power stations to use this on the road.

Also note I paid a bit more for mine last year and I'm not the least bit disappointed when BougeRV runs a sale. This unit has paid for itself in bottled water alone, much less not buying ice and meal prepping.

If you're on the fence, just purchase it. I absolutely love mine I keep it in my truck 24/7, I was worried about the capacity when I ordered mine last August but I actually prefer the smaller size. It takes no time at all to cool down and without the need for ice you still pack quite a bit in it. No need to pre chill the day before, it gets cold fast.

Was going to say the same thing. I got mine a few months ago and it fits great in the model Y, plus a little room for air to move around. I haven't run it for longer than a few hours, but my pre-purchase concerns about ventilation seem unfounded. It runs well and has been a game changer during the persistent heat waves we've been having.

Curious if there's a little wiggle room in there ??
Can the sub trunk hold a 26 qt version ? This one is 23 qt.

I *think* I've read somewhere that the 26qt size does fit but the sub-trunk lid sits right on top of it. I would measure to be sure. I am more comfortable with the 23qt because as I mentioned, there is room for air movement. If you're not going to run it a long time that might not be a cause for concern. If you decide to get the 26qt let me know how it goes!

I have the 30 Quart (28L) version in my model y subtrunk. It fits almost perfectly. The subtrunk cover thing sort of rests on the fridge instead of securing in its normal position but it's totally perfect. I'm not explaining it great but unless you're like extremely ocd, you'll be happy with how the 28l fits. I paid 210 for it. It's basically running everyday for 6 months with no issues yet
