I had Apex UW 19 Degree for 6 Rounds and Traded in for something else. I guess just for me, the club is not well forgiving and would rather hit #3 Wood or #5 Wood which is more forgiving than this club.
Before I purchased it, I reviewed all info at Youtube, and read all reviews which says Well Forgiving and Hit further, but not for me.

I bought this last month from Carls. It is a bit of a niche item, but I really like it. I would recommend it only to a 5 handicap or lower that likes the feel of a hybrid but wants a bit more distance. I was looking to fill a gap in my bag between 3 wood and 4 hybrid. I tried a lot of 5/7 woods and just didn't love them. I am a bit steep and the 5/7 woods were very spinny for me and went way too high.

I think for the majority of players, a 5 wood would be a better choice. But if you are good player that doesn't love higher lofted woods, this might be for you.

Since I'm a 10 handicap, I guess this club isn't for me. I game an old Ping Rapture V2 17* hybrid. Anyway, I bought a Ping G425 hybrid without trying it out thinking it'll more or less be the same. Oh boy, was I wrong. Just kept the old one in the bag.

One of the easiest hybrids I've ever hit was from a brand that isn't liked by many, PXG. 2 of my friends had them, and when I tried them out, it was like butter. This was a few years back so I don't think it's the latest model either. If you can stomach the $30 shipping, I would recommend this:

I'm a 20 handicap and this is my favorite club in my bag, I use it in lieu of a 3 wood. I love it because I can hit it out of the rough way more reliably than my old 3 wood. Don't be afraid if you're a higher handicapper, it's an easy to hit hybrid

33 is impressive! So you average 95 to 100 on 18? One day I shot a 87 then next day a 105.

Obviously, test it out first if you can, but my experience with this club in a 21* has been amazing. So easy to hit! Launches high, doesn't spin like crazy, great from the rough, on the ground or off a tee, I don't find it to be right or left bias. I bought mine from Callaway Golf Preowned for more money that this.

I play the 17* 4 wood and it is remarkably consistent and carries around 230 for me. I find it easy to hit as someone who likes hybrids. This club definitely delivers what it's supposed to, which is wood distance with hybrid utility. I use this off the teebox and out of anything from fairway into the short rough. Much more useful than my 3 wood all around.

For the price, this is great if you like the shaft it comes with. I would recommend CPO if you are fitted into a different shaft since they have more options plus you can customize your club length and grip directly through them.
