I recently purchased the gold toe quarter ankle socks, and the elastic on those is strong. I still have a few pairs of these no-show socks from a few years ago, and the ankle elastic is much thicker and still going strong I took a picture of the new socks as well as my older ones and sent them to Gildan who now owns the gold toe brand. I suggested they fix this issue before they lose more customers. They thanked me and suggested I return the socks to Amazon as defective. Afterwards I read some of the reviews which state the same exact issue I had.
