Well. The single 16gb dimm is perfect if you want to add a second matching one to get up to 32gb but as I understand it 4800mhz isn't the optimum memory speed for these chips. 6000mhz is ideal to maximize the infinity fabric speed but then again being a prre-built it might not support EXPO and that speed anyway.

Not an expert but I assume you can get more for your money by going with another company and not be locked into Alienware's proprietary case/setup that are difficult to upgrade in the future. Just threw this together on Cyberpower in 5 minutes, so I'm sure someone more in the know with current pc parts can do better, also could've knocked a few bucks off with a different case.

What's the most-similar CPU to this on the Intel side? I've been out of the AMD market for a while but am in the game for something like this

True, while slightly worse than the ti, this system has double the RAM and double the SSD. As I said, just threw something together in 5 minutes without any research, so I'm sure there are better ways to spend money than on an Alienware was my point.

The general AMD/Intel equivilancy is (as the names suggest) Ryzen 5 / Intel i5, Ryzen 7 / Intel i7, etc and so-on.

Shocker - another brainless repeat of 'locked into Alienware's proprietary case/setup...difficult to upgrade in the future' comment. So, you're in the know? Or, you're not in the know? You're no expert but you know that Alienware 'is proprietary' 'hard to upgrade' 'cant upgrade'? Sounds like the only comment you're looking for is for someone to agree with your choice of the Cyberpower. Go with the Cyberpower - it's the best out there at every price point and you'll never ever ever have to buy another Cyberpower because they are infinitely upgradable even to Quantum - stay away from Alienware because the only upgradable parts in the "proprietary" Alienware machines are: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD and PSU. *huge* SMH.

Not sure why you're so hostile, people can know things without being experts, but if you can defend alienware against my claims (which you haven't yet) then by all means do, or continue on your rant. I could've picked 5 other companies that do pre-builts and done something similar, just the first that popped into my head. Also you quoted me saying "can't upgrade" even though I didn't say that.
