Apparently these adapters are all the hype on Tiktok Shop right now, but this latest AI Box device is S-tier and includes 4k apps and GPS.

Lightinthebox has the Carlinkit SDM660 for $138 after $151 using coupon code: CAR138. (Remove shipping insurance to get advertised price)

I have a similar, cheaper AI box, but it does not have GPS built in so I'd have to pair it with my Android device in order for nav to work.

This device can run maps and 4k videos standalone, without an android or iPhone device!

Do you know where we might be able to get an updated coupon code?
Not sure if the paging works, but I think you were looking for this!

If your vehicle supports Android Auto and/or Carplay, you can instead plug this device in without needing your real phone. It's essentially an OS that plugs into your car, and can also pair with your phone's existing carplay/AA if you wish to use that as well. Because it operates as its own OS, it circumvents a lot of functionality that typical AA/CP offers, such as having custom apps like Netflix, Tiktok, Youtube on your car's infotainment screen. (To be enjoyed while parked of course).

What I like about it is that it includes its own GPS, so it could be used as navigation without needing your phone. (Older vehicles like my Chevy Bolt requires a phone to power nav, whereas with this you don't)

Lmk if you end up trying this! I have a similar one in the ~$40 range but would totally get this if it were my primary vehicle

Bay Area! Yeah it should work, I have the $40 equiv w/o GPS and it works on my Bolt. It would likely need to utilize wifi or your phone's hotspot though so its OS has internet access. Make sure to keep your eyes on the road, these things are addictive 😅

Also their return policy is ass so if it doesn't work we can try to swap ours Big Grin Once I had a carlinkit not work on my bolt but worked on my Dads, it was weird.

Just purchased. I noticed after purchasing that it's the Eurasia version. Will that matter? It didn't specify on the product page that it was Eurasia.

So if you pair it with your phone, will it be able to receive your texts and read it out like normal cp/aa? If it is paired to your phone, will it use your phone's gps?

Seems like an interesting device but I would NOT buy from this seller. Basically consider it an as is item with no returns if you buy it from them. Spend a little more and get it on Amazon.

Correct if you pair it with your phone you'd essentially get a native wireless aa/cp experience with your cars infotainment and audio

I've bought from them a bunch of times, and can confirm their return policies are ass. I do wonder of their shipping insurance makes returns any better

Does this solve the latency issue with wireless CarPlay when paired with phone?
