I don't like the color, but having that W1 chip means it's a breeze to pair with whatever Apple product you are logged into with your Apple ID. Flip from a Mac to wanting it on iPhone is just one click/tap to make the change. No BT re-pairing is ever required once set up. Unlike multi-pair bluetooth, this (the W1 chip, Apple magic) will let you work with an unlimited number of Apple devices as long as they are linked to your AppleID.

For those wondering, the primary differences between this prev generation Beats Solo3 versus the newer Solo4:

Solo3: Microusb port
Solo4: Lightning port

Solo3: Apple W1 chipset
Solo4: Apple H1 chipset (newer, less latency on initial connection and up to 30% less latency when used for gaming)

I have had a set of these for over 5 years. Used for air travel. Got through many flights with screaming kids behind me. I recently went to air pods max, but still these for yard work

These are open, not sealed, so how do they fare for you in flight? For me, mine, I found it was almost useless; I had to use Airpods Pro for the NC features in flight.
