Is this deal still available? I called Spectrum and they said they can do $29.99/month but it's only locked in for 1 year and phone lines are now $30/month with no free phone line anymore. Is that right or should I just call in again and get someone else?

Did you go online and check the offers for your area? I'm looking at offers for my area right now and it shows $30 a month for 100 Mbps and includes one unlimited line. The price guarantee is only for one year though. There are various bundled offers with that speed. They also offer 500 Mbps for $50 a month also includes one unlimited line and a price guarantee of one year. These may be online only offers though so I'd go check the website if I were you.

Also, sometimes a $50 off the first month banner pops up. I'd wait around for that if I were you. And it seems there is, weirdly, a $30 self installation fee.

I was able to call back and ask for 2 years and the rep changed my locked in 1 year price to 2 years. I also ended up switching to visible for $15/line locked in for 5 years.

Oh yes I was able to ask for the $50 credit and got it. Also, got the $30 self installation fee so net $20 positive. Pretty decent.
