Its basically half price. When you get it print a side spool holder or buy one for a table, spool on top iant good for vibrations.

Short answer -- yes. While I don't have this printer, I sort of wish I did considering the reviews its getting:

For a beginner I would recommend the Bambu A1 mini. It's $200 unless you have a TikTok shop coupon you may be able to save a few bucks but they are great machines. Ender machines are best for tinkerers.

At that price this is a no brainer. I paid $200 for Ender 3 V3 SE New, and this is the upgrade to it.

I've had every printer from prusas to ratrigs to vorons. I got a v3 ke about six months ago from amazon returns, it was around this price.

The thing just flat out works, and works well. Near silent. Wifi built in. Great for pla/petg. Leveling works well enough.

I chiefly use orcaslicer and this printer simply gives very good results. I don't think it's failed any prints that weren't the fault of my slicing. For $144 I don't think you can go wrong.

The extent of "tinkering" this printer needs is I printed a little rack that clips on to hold the side cutters and some Allen wrenches.

Now that the V3 SE price went up to $110 it's just that much easier to suggest this one over the SE. As for those who say get the Bambu Labs over this, well BL does make a really good printer but the A1 mini has a significantly smaller build area vs this model. I would be curious how many people have used both and can give a true back to back comparison. Yeah, a lot of people have used the older Enders but this isn't one of the previous generations.

I recently bought, last month with the same referb deal on ebay, 17 Ender 3 V3 SE machines - 6 had issues, I was able to move parts around and send back 2 of them, making the other 15 work.

I bought 5 - 3 V3 KE machines, 4 had major issues, and 3 are going back. I am only able to get 2 fully working units out of the 5.
