Bought this one previously for $400 after a lot of research. If you can get your hands on it, I think it's a great budget pick that I haven't had any issues with.

I think it's amazing that you can get a basic but apparently decent 75" TV for $300. Thanks OP. Cheers

Refresh rate 60 lol
There's literally nothing that broadcasts over 60fps. Most are 30. The only thing that can take advantage of more would be a PC or console hooked up for gaming. The 120hz+ marketing crap is just soap opera effect processing in the tv, not source material. The exception would be avoiding the judder effect for 24fps content if the TV doesn't support 24fps natively, and that would assume your streaming client supports 120hz, which most don't.

Walmart was (is) selling the 65" newer version for the same price. I doubt there's a lot of room for scalping there.

Hisense sucks. If you want a cheap TV go with TCL.

I've messed with Google TV before and imho their UI, ads selection, and home channel programming suck...

I've owned several models of both brands. The first (midrange) Hisense I bought in 2019 had a good picture but the UI speed was terrible (I connected a Roku to it and that works fine). The second one, a higher end model purchased in 2022, has a great pic and fast UI.

I have had better luck with my 75" TLC - now 3 years old. My Hisense 55" only lasted a year before it died and it wasn't the semi easy to replace backlighting. YMMV

Oh my bad. Was trying to convey the gamers in the room that 60hz is a waste of money for them. No disrespect to those who buys these for just watching movies and cable. 😁
