Yeah, but as a long time SDer you should know a decent Cal King sheet costs more than $12.

A better Slickdeal is using a King of Cal. King size white sheet which works just as well and is a bit larger for the couple of times a year you might use your projector. And might be free if you already have the sheet.

The woman that lives with me has talked about getting a TV for our new Canopy for football season, but almost thinking it might be easier/cheaper to do a projector. Anyone here have experience with that? Doesn't need to be 4K or best quality, literally just going to be used primarily for sports.

Yes, but as a youngster from the last century, I was thought at school to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. I reuse a King bed sheet which I already have, to project onto a sports game, Olympics or a movie, couple times a year and it works great. So you do not need to always buy something.
