I ordered a bunch of Ring items off of Woot a while ago, some of them didn't work, and Woot support was damn near non existent. Never got a refund or return or anything. Do not recommend.

Weird, it's exactly the opposit for me, woot issued multiple refunds on items without needing to return them after I requested

To record footage an iCloud+ subscription is required. The $1 plan allows adding one camera.

They could always request it and still can. The user isn't required to allow it.

This deal reminds me of the inkjet printers . They sell you the printer at a lost but they will get their money back by selling overpriced Ink Cartridges. In this case monthly subscription fee.
Just get a Eufy cam.

Thank you for that. That was the tipping point for me not to buy. Just don't want anything fancy and not another sub to pay for..
