Standard home depot hack, either pick up at two different stores and don't pick up the battery, or return the battery separately. Home depot pro rates the discount to each item.

But seriously, I have one and love mine. Keep in mind, this one is mainly for light duty. The "handgun" version, if you will. There is a two-handed "shotgun" version, if you wanna go big, but 'tis not currently on sale, from what I saw (no pun intended that time.)

I canceled the battery order pickup so it should stay that way, never had issues with it.

Yep, works for me, too.

It comes down to the hacks and hack-nots these days. Some people can figure it out, and others can't and just go around thumbing down these threads and comments that support the hack like small children who lose a game.

For those wanting a bit more power, the same deal is also going on the M18 fuel Hackzall Gen 2. It works out to $110.62 after the hack.

Others just don't hack like a hacker to properly get the hack! I said I canceled the battery, it went though fine, what more is there to say😂

That may not be completely true. I happened to me that if one item is not available in nearby store, they will still let you do pick up at two different stores.

Newbie here. But where do you get a battery for it? How do you charge the battery? Do you already have the charger and the battery? I do not have those, but need the HACKZALL. Do I need to just go with HACKZALL + free battery, then buy the charger? Or is there a cheaper way of getting those somewhere/somehow else?

The assumption is that you have a battery already. If not, you would just keep it. I would purchase a charger on ebay. Just make sure it's an actual Milwaukee.
