Not a great deal. I'd look at the Z6II first as they have the same sensor.

None of the Nikon Z stuff is made in Japan anymore, considering abandoning the platform for Canon altogether after almost 30 years of Nikon photography.

That's a good deal! I just bought one of these about a week ago. Looks like I'm getting a price match tomorrow.

Also, do not believe that this is basically a rebadged Z6 II, it is much faster at focusing over longer distances and that's because the expeed 7 is said to be several X faster than the dual chip second gen bodies had in them.

Some of the Higher end DSLR bodies are made in Japan, but they've sent many of the entry level and enthusiast stuff off to Thailand to be manufactured since the D70 days, so he's probably been using some bodies that were made there years ago and didn't have an issue with those.

Oh and the original Z6 / Z7 were made in Japan and are considered to be the worst of the bunch, so it makes no sense to abandon them for that purpose.

The ZF is much better for action/wildlife/sports than the Z6II, it's close to a z6iii in retro form.

The Zf is for a different customer, honestly it is for the Fuji X-T5 customer who wants a full frame version. The X-T5 is about the same money as this and has manual exposure/iso dials like this.
