8gb Ram, 256gb SSD, and Windows 10. Woot says it usually goes for $1,299.99. This is a refurb or open box item that's why the discount is so deep.

wow! usually goes for $1299? I had two of these that I tried to let go for free for students and no one would take it. i5-6300 is about 9 years old now and this wouldn't be a deal sub $100

While this is a Latitude series notebook which typically ranks well in durability, the processor is 6th gen which is extremely old. You can score a better deal most of the time with best buy open box or dell refurbished website (10th gen processor).

Intel Core i5-6300U, oof .

You're basically at the worser levels of a Celeron N100 and with way higher power consumption.

No need to be snippy bro. Just saying Woot! claims its usual price is that.

These are highly unlikely to be "open box" with a CPU that is from 2015, and highly likely to be refurbs or returns. The CPU was EOL in 2022. https://ark.intel.com/content/www...0-ghz.html

I was ridiculing woots claim of $1299 if not open box, nothing on you, unless you made up that number

Fair enough. The listing on Woot+ ha the retail price at $1,299.99. I believe the listing on Woot itself leaves that price out. I assume they go by the retail price when it was new, and don't adjust for the loss of value over time.

Ignore the haters, blunt, honest opinion is helpful for us Slickdealers that need tech advice.
