This seems like a stupidly enticing deal. What's the catch?

I know that there is no microphone. Can anyone speak of using something like this in a PC gaming situation?

Not the same league and bit on the warm side, but yesterday got some Corsair Void Elite wireless for $79 on Amazon if you want a decent gaming headset. Was $109 just 2 days ago.

You will need a desktop mic like a razer seiren. Since it must have both can plugged in you cannot use an inline mic like the voda mix or drop boom mic

So I own these and these have been sitting in my closet for like 2 years. They're okay. I say for $50 it's a deal but don't expect like $400 sound. They sound like $100 headphones

I'm not sure what I'd do with these. I have a set of Senn HD599 and a cheap closed back set to use when my neighbor has loud parties. I've never seen HIFIMAN cans under about $150 I don't think, but most better names have cheapers lines. Has anyone used these and can comment on the sound quality and comfort? Also, aren't HIFIman headphones known for their poor construction?

Zeos put a lot of emphasis on these being "Bass light" which means they're absolutely not what I want.
Probably not great for gaming either. Pass from me.
Very good deal though, very tempting, but like I said, I don't need another bright pair of headphones, I already don't wear my senn 58x's

I don't use these headphones but I do use a pair of beyerdynamics for gaming with a wireless mod mic that attaches to the headset via a magnet.

Not sure if it's the same design internally, but I've had durability issues with the same appearing hinge/size adjustment apparatus, so I've tried to avoid the Hifiman's with that design. I used the heck out of my HE4XX, and they are some of my favorite sounding, but they broke at that hinge and I had to zip tie it, despite babying them. So definitely something to consider.

If you buy any $50 headphone and a $10 mic off any random chinese brand in amazon, it will still sound better than any $200 headsets in the market.

also stay away from headphones with plastic hinges they don't last more than year with daily use the plastic deteriorates and snaps in half.
