In for one-at this price definitely worth a try. I drink way too much coffee and hate the amount of plastic pods I'm throwing away.

I've used knock-off versions of this and not been impressed by the strength of the coffee even after trying varying amounts of coffee in the cup. It always tasted watered-down to me. Does anyone know how this compares from a strength/flavor standpoint?

Thanks!

I have the exact same situation/question.
A few months ago I ordered some stainless steel ones and ended up returning them because the coffee came out ridiculously weak.
They all work the same, this is no different. Are you people tamping your k cups? Rinsing them out while still hot does the trick and coffee grounds are one of the best things you can put in your garbage disposal for cleaning and blade retention.

It is very easy to clean, however they recommend running it through a dishwasher because of the fine mesh filter. I have 3 of these pods and just rotate them once used.
Don't use them in the dishwasher, just boil them in a pot of water (or water with lemon juice or vinegar). Just like a normal coffee pot it will hold soapy tastes.

I've been using these for years.

For a little more money you get 4 instead of 1. Easy to clean and make a strong cup because they are mesh on the bottom as well as the sides and the dispenser is rounded which gets better distribution. Eventually the top breaks off the hinge (though still usable) after about a year or more and you still have 3 more. I rinse them to clean or put them on the top rack of the dishwasher (after dumping out the bulk of the grounds in the garbage).

For those who are saying these reusable pods make weak coffee, are you grinding your own beans? I believe that's the difference. I have a Ninja coffee maker so I use a different reusable pod but I believe the logic is the same. I grind my own beans and use the "fine" setting on my burr/grinder on the coffee I put in the pod and the coffee tastes much richer that way. I think regular ground coffee is too coarse to get the best flavor with these reusable pods. It's just a thought, anyway.

Have one of these from a previous deal. Works perfectly! Getting a backup/stocking-stuffer.

Thanks! TU
Same. Always good to have a backup

We used these as well when we had a Keurig. Much better than the bulky Keurig insert that came with ours.
We used to pack these to the top with fine ground dark roast and it came out very good.

I've been using similar ones for years. Saves me money over the pods, plus I can tweak the amount of grounds to suit my taste. I still use the keurig size paper filters in addition, coffee tastes a bit smoother and no occasional small grounds that might have gotten thru. It also helps the refill pods stay cleaner for a much longer use before the screens are stained and fouled.

Is buying this and your own grounds cheaper than buying the pre-made k-pods?

Same with me. I bought some generic ones off amazon and it was completely watered down coffee and was not drinkable.

You're supposed to use them with paper filters and a finer grind.

Got it but will be interested to see whether my multi-stream "SMART" Keurig machine will recognize the filter adjust settings accordingly. Seems promising since there's a QR code on the body of the filter.

Personally love these, have been using them for years with my own ground coffee. I use them almost every morning.

It is bigger than the normal cup, you have to pop out the K-cup holder and this slips right in.

I have the original black top one and that works perfectly. These updated ones with the gray top, you have to be careful - if you add too much coffee (below the MAX level), sometimes water spills out the side instead of down the grinds and your drink is watered down.

Could never get it to make strong coffee. There's too much water flow compared to a kcup.
I agree that most of the lighter coffees come out pretty weak with this cup. I have been using these for the last 5 years and love strong coffee. I use the strong setting on the Keurig with the second from largest cup selected. I use 2/3 espresso on the bottom with a dark Starbucks on top.

Do not buy! Don't be fooled since its name brand. Leaks and worst design. It's flawed. Buy a knockoff stainless reusable one. You thank me later.
