Good find OP. I have an Ohio Power Bar and can attest they're worth the money. This one from Fringe Sport looks equally good which is amazing. The only thing it lacks, and this is personal preference, is the center knurling which is helpful for me in squats.

But a bar with those specs (28mm) and with bearings which is usually a more expensive feature, and it still being $230 is crazy good.

Agreed. I have 5 Ohio Power Bars w/ different coatings... I love them all. IMHO only bar that tops the OPB is the 29mm Texas Power bar.

Bars like this lack a center knurl for Olympic lifts.

I got sucked in! I've been using a generic bar I got off FB marketplace and was looking for a good deal on a buy-it-once bar.

I got the 5lb kids barbell for my son, at $119 its also a great deal for anyone who needs one. I've never seen it lower than that, most amazon brands are $80-100 too.
