Never heard of the site, how's the experience? including FREE returns? Genuine products - meaning not a Temu garbage? (everything is made in China but there's a difference between quality control when designed in non-china countries and the garbage sold directly from China that has 0 quality control and questionable materials)

Never heard of this website, so a pass for me, but price seems right. I know I can find similarish ones on amazon for close to this price though, so not a big deal to pass on it to get piece of mind and easy returns.

Quick example:

I do not have this knife but do have a few others from Statgear. They are best known for the Pocket Samurai knife.

They are an OK brand. Decently built if not particularly well designed. I am not too crazy about them. I do not think you would be disappointed at this price though.

statgear tools is the seller and importer of this knife so it's their own website. Like ecoflow dot com or anker dot com. Yes this is a made in china blade, but it seems well made and patterned after (almost copy) of knives like gerber strongarm, which is a good knife. From the looks of it, I suspect that this is made by the same factory that makes knives for gerber, specifically their bear grylls line of knives.

It would not be outside the realm of possibility because yes it looks pretty identical to my bear grylls survival knife which I have now had for over 4 or 5 years...

Yeah, definitely looks like a Bear Grylls clone from Gerber. Good deal if it's the same quality.

This knife has come up before and looks like a Ganzo g8012 copy or maybe/probably made by them.

Ganzo makes great budget knive that hit way above their price point. The steel maybe different….. ….the Ganzo is listed as. 7cr17mov and the stat is listed as a 440 stainless.. very similar types of steel and I think that the 7r17mov may even be a type of 440.

I don't have this but have bought a different folder from this site/brand...it was ok, if heavy.

I'll add the obligatory comment to this...you can get a mora companion for about $15. The companion is an excellent fixed blade that is extremely well liked, well reviewed by people who use them outdoors and in the trades, and comes with a very nice steel. Its very light, incredibly sharp, easy to sharpen, robust (if not robust enough, look at their robust line), and cheap enough to not worry about.

This isn't really to detract from this deal, just another option.

Look like Ganzo G801 which has a piece of Velcro warping around the sharpening stone.

Mora also has the Companion Spark, with ferro rod, if you are looking for the fire starter built in the knife. It is a bit more, $34.
