If you have a gas stove it is not enough because the stove produces a lot of waste heat, vapor and other products of burning gas.
Nice price, but the look isn't popular anymore.

Agree with the look. It's was a short-lived trend to show the skinny exhaust duct. Most people prefer to have more storage space rather than having an open look.

Got an example of what a "more storage space" setup looks like? I'm remodeling a kitchen right now.
What's the trend now and which brands are better? I have an older Kobi that needs to be replaced. One thing I'd say is that I would really want my new hood to have the control buttons on the front instead of on the bottom that gets direct exposure to heat and gets grease build up over time. That's what caused the damage to my current rangehood.
I like the 36" above a 30" stove. Found the hard way how cooking material can pass onto the cabinets right above the stove against the hood. Alternatively, you could install the cabinets 3" away from the hood on left and right side. However, I think it may look awkward.
Regarding the cfm for this fan, it probably enough for everyday cooking. the higher the cfm, more noisy it is.

If you mostly do boiling, stew etc, it's enough and quiet. If you do fry, sear, stir fry, get 800 CFM or higher, and more importantly, with 8" vent.
Also to be noted, if you have higher than 400 CFM you need a make up air vent otherwise you'll get lots of negative pressure, and it'll start pulling in air from all the holes to the outside.
