Note: This item is described as having two 65w ports, but the two ports SHARE 65w - if they are both occupied they will each deliver 30w.

Just a warning to check specs before purchasing. Many PCs will refuse a 65w charge as insufficient. Both of mine require 90s over usbc, and come with 200w rounds from the factory.

I guess what caught my eye is that the title states "2x 65w" - which could reasonably be read as 130w total output, so I thought it appropriate to add a comment to indicate that it is indeed 65w of total available power output.

This item should have been titled as "65w 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A, 3x AC" - the placement of the 2x before the total power output is disingenuous.

It's akin to advertising a 300w UPS battery backup with 4 outlets as a "4x 300w Battery Backup." Seems weird, right?

Also could split 45W+20W which may work for some people. (Laptop+Phone)

i believe all other similar charging devices use total W for marketing, i guess we need to figure out the splits if not described.

That's standard practice for every charger I'm aware of. It's an important consideration but nothing unique to this charger

65w may not be enough juice to charge a laptop while running.
That's one power hungry laptop!

It's not just the usb-c ports, the 65W is shared among them all. Still good enough to charge a macbook air and iphone at the same time but more power hungry laptops will need 65W minimum.

Not cheap, but the design or pretty good for certain situations. I've got a couple I use, one in a desk area. Then another to run some charge cables into a couch area. I got them for $33 each, but was the green color.

Getting paid to post this and posting a misleading title? As others have stated 65w shared between both usb-c.

I have this and have been very happy with it. It's not a 90 watt monster, but it keeps my MacBook filled while using.

As for the wattage, that's one good thing about USB C. I can technically charge my MacBook Air with a iPhone 20w charger, I just have to have the lid closed and it will eventually fill it up.

Obviously *using* the laptop while charging is a different story, but in a pinch (ex. left my MagSafe at home and all I have is my iPhone charger), it's a lifesaver.
