Could this be set up to heat a swimming pool?
This unit is not meant to be run continuously like a pool heater. So while you could likely use it for something like a small inflatable kiddie pool, that would be about the extent of it's usefulness.

105 degrees F in the picture - that can spawn legionnaires bacteria ! 🦠
legionella would be in the tank of a water heater, correct? This is tankless

Furthermore, the only place hot water is useful is the shower and perhaps the dishwasher. Laundry? No benefit. Hand wash dishes? No benefit. Washing your hands? Again no benefit.

Remember: it's hot water. Not water that has been brought to a boil. There is absolutely no health benefit to using hot water. In general, it's a waste.
you dont use hot water for dish hand washes? you may even need more hot water by washing them than taking the shower.

I like to think of all of us as friends, and as a friend, with quick math, this hot mess monstrosity will draw 50ish amp, so lets round up to 60 amps. Is it going to make the water hot instantly at your kitchen or bathroom sink? Sure. Is it going to be cheaper to let the water run that few seconds to warm up? No it isn't.

They make smaller, 110 volt units that work pretty good for kitchen sinks if that's your thing.

Those asking about Legionnaire's bacteria, there is a small reservoir, usually like a gallon or so that it super heats the water, or in this case, that gallon would be sitting at a dangerous 105.
This is meant to replace the water heater, not point of use. They don't store any heated water, the elements heat when the water flows through a copper grid so no concern there, you set it to what you want your hot water to be.

I replaced my tank with the Rheem version for about 4 years now, and love it. Saved a ton of floor space in our laundry room too.

Can Legionnaire's bacteria be absorbed in the rear end hole while using the bidet?

You're going to need about double the current in order for it to be able to replace a 40 gallon tank This might work for a 1 bed 1 bath or a trailer but no way even remotely capable for a multi family instant hot.

You're making very broad generalizations that are completely inaccurate for this particular model.

Contrary to what the other comment said, this unit isn't rated to replace a 40 gallon tank for the purpose of whole house supply. It's for kitchen, laundry, and small offices, as listed in the description.

However, a real whole house unit doesn't automatically mean it draws more current, but rather that the unit itself is larger and has more surface area to heat the water before reaching the outlet.

Moreover, inlet temperature on these is largely influential on how they will perform. There's even a chart in one of the screenshots. Obviously, warmer inlet temps aren't going to require as much energy to reach the set temp. So to assume that everyone is going to have the same experience with these, despite living in completely different regions, is a falsehood.
