Peacock premium has commercials? What is premium about it then?

They used to have a free tier with ads that didn't have all of the content. The next tier up was premium in that it provided access to additional content but still had ads, and the highest tier was premium plus without ads. They dropped the free tier but kept the names for the two paid tiers.

I don't know if it's targeted, but xfinity gave me a free subscription for being a diamond member of xfinity rewards. I got that status by proving I was a veteran. So anyone who fits that bill may be able to get the service for free.

Question: I currently have a Peacock account tied to my personal email address. My wife is a teacher. The terms say ". You are only eligible to redeem this offer if you are a new or existing Peacock subscriber and...(ii) are currently employed as a teacher..."

Is there a way I would be able to somehow merge my account with my wife's contact information to get her teacher discount?

I tried using the promo code that I received with my wife's information on my Peacock account and that wouldn't work. I suppose I could try updating the email address to her work address, but not sure if that'd work.
