Greentoe isn't the seller. They are a middleman between you and an authorized seller to allow the retailer to sell under MSRP (retailers aren't allowed to advertise a lower price). You'll get an invoice from the authorized retailer.

I literally just bought the A7RV through Greentoe a few days ago for $3000 ugh lol

This will be US warranty. The seller wont be greentoe. Instead it will be an authorized dealer they connect you with who has authorized the sale at the lower than MSRP price.

These are same as edu pricing. If you qualify, you can get them from any retailer like B&H/Adorama or you local retailer directly.

But Greentoe doesn't collect tax. So that's only equivalent if you do B&H Photo with EDU and their tax-back credit card... but also these are cheaper than the EDU prices anyway.

The A7 IV definitely needs a refresh, it needs a better EVF and LCD and an additional AI chip like the A7c ii. To compete with the Z6iii, Sony also needs to add 4k120, and 6k video, even 8k30, 33MP is just the right size for 8k
Not sure what you are doing wrong but the A7iv is a better camera than anyone needs. Posts about these things "needing" an upgrade are absurd at this point.

I generally agree but at the same time, having to shoot video in crop mode on the A7IV in order to get full resolution is super annoying. I bought my lenses for their focal lengths not for the APSC crop of them.
