I have this exact watch and love it. Bought a sapphire glass over the screen from Amazon ($25) and saved a lot. After a year of hard use, I still don't have any scratches on the glass. Would buy another one as a back up. I wear it daily and can dress it up or down.

I know the new one is coming out in 2 weeks (Fenix 8, with the OLED display), but that'll be at least $900…likely more. This is a great deal on closeouts!

Good price but not the Sapphire edition, which is what one should get for this expensive watch from what I've read.

Sapphire is better, but this is a heck of a watch for $350

Just for those who are VERY concerned about scratching. I have a Venu 2 that has zero visible scratches and I've owned it since it came out. I'm actually very mad as today I bought a year of Apple Fitness so this deal alert rattled my soul!

It's not. Saphhire scratches too. Better off saving money putting screen protector. Saphhire on nice watch work AR coating is nice Garmin saphhire is horrible glare basically it's bottom of the barrel saphhire just to meet spec sheet.

I'm one of those people who can't wear a watch if it has scratches on it. Sapphire crystal usually prevents that, however, there is a trade off. There is usually more reflective glare and it's supposedly more brittle. I usually go for sapphire when available as I hate any type of screen protector

Got a link for the screen protector? Thanks in advance.

Anyone who has this watch also used the Fenix 6? Is it enough of an upgrade to move on from a 6 Pro Sapphire model?

Just ordered.... Great deal returning my bass pro purchase at 449.

FYI the new Fenix 8 is coming out (Sept) with the AMOLED that is very similar to the epix.

Epix line is rumored to be folded into Fenix line as they are identical except for screen difference.
