great price for a ROG as these don't come down often, I believe the 17inch is free of the fan issue that sounds like coil whine on the 18inch which is why I returned it a few months back. Build quality is top notch, I'm waiting for an updated rog 18inch.

Isn't this general ASUS model the one with CPU paste issues?

Is this 2024 version?
Yes, early 2024 refresh. This model is basically using the more powerful 16 Core HX series processor instead of normal 8 core HS series and offers far superior CPU Performance. The cooling on this also pretty much beefed up to support that.

Same performance or close to 3080ti laptop, CPU is better.
High power 4070 is a waste according to this video:

Could I hook up 3 1440 p monitors? I bought some MSI 27' 1440 ips monitors from costco monitors on here as well and looking for a laptop for a possible 3 monitor setup. The monitors are rated for 1440 p. Some mild-moderate gaming on 1 monitor. I am not looking to get optimal performance just passable/moderate performance.

Yes, you can, one through HDMI and other two, through Type C port, using Type-C to HDMI/DP cable or adapter, depending upon your monitor's input ports.

You're right and I am wrong. I was basically referring to the TUF A15 refresh of this year, now coming with Ryzen HX in another thread and posted that details here.
