No it's not. you can still hardwire it. I have one connected to the corner of my garage(power connected to the garage door opener outlet)so I don't have to deal with charging.

Is there an echo show 8 type of device that works with these google items?

Like can I say " show me the front door" and it pulls up on the google home screen?

This isn't a google item. You can do that on this with an Amazon or Google device if they have a display screen. Very easily.

Most of these cameras will work with these screens no problem but I got a couple Ring cameras to go with my Ring doorbell because I have the new Echo Hub and Ring is the only one that shows updated screenshots on that screen. It has a 4 camera grid that is always on so you can glance at it say like in the kitchen where I have it and it shows an updated camera shot every minute or so. Otherwise my main cameras are Wyze cams. Also another interesting thing I found out, the Ring cameras only do that on the Echo Hub if you have a subscription. If you have a TV with Alexa you can also ask it to show you a camera and then when you are done tell it to go home to get out of the camera view.

You'll need the Eufy HomeBase as well. I've used these, and the doorbell, for about a year and overall pretty happy. This is a typical sale price we've seen a lot lately and I'm starting to get some condensation issues with one of mine so I might pick up another to have as a backup replacement. One other side note, I've noticed that my phones alert notifications have taken longer to get to me. This is probably a wifi issue and not a camera or HomeBase issue but I'll still put it out there. In the end it's a pretty good product and one of the few you don't need a subscription for.

I had one, was great but the summer in Florida and then a bad rainstorm at 13 months did it in. Had a leak, just outside warranty. I like eufy but this was rough
