No Rtings score for this model yet. It's similar to the Q650 (7.3 Rtings score), but has a faster processor, 25% brighter, and 120hz vs 60hz.

Is there anything better around this size for around this price as a throw around tv? Meaning, It would probably be used for games or something like that and perhaps some tv/film viewing but my expectations would not be high for this, but what are the other options? Or are you just buying 85" of real estate and kind of a crap picture quality?

This was 800 on prime day. If you are not in a hurry this might drop even more in the near future.

As is shown in the Price Intelligence above, $898 is the lowest yet for this 2024 120Hz model. It was the 2023 Q650G 60Hz version that was $800 on Prime Day.

Hisense QD7 is in competition with this. The U6N is $1097 at Best Buy. Not sure how they all compare.

I just purchased the Hi-Sense 65" U75N specifically because I wanted a gaming tv and it has some of the best ratings. So far it is excellent and has great sound. For FPS, you may find 85" to be a bit large but for immersion games would be excellent. I have many TCL tv's - some rode in the back of a u-haul from AZ to VA and never have had a problem.
