These Sodastream Bubly drops go on sale from time to time so I try to keep tabs on them to buy when that happens. Right now Lime and some other flavors are on a good discount, including my favorite, Peach.

$9.15 with subscribe and save, otherwise $10.77 with Amazon Prime account.

A couple of additional, hopefully helpful thoughts:

1) The greatest expense with making your own soda water is the carbon dioxide. Sodastream really makes their profit on selling the smallish cylinders that fit inside your soda maker. If you really want to cut costs, you can make your soda water in 5 gallon kegs, pressurized with a 5lb canister of CO2. I filter my tap water and keep two kegs in my kegerator - one that I"m serving and one that is being carbonated. If you have a kegerator, you likely have all you need to mass produce soda water.

2) The second biggest expense is the flavor drops if you use them. I like the Bubly drops personally, but you can't beat using real fruit juices or other flavors you might have laying around. Soda water, without flavoring is quite refreshing as well.

3) I bought a bunch of plastic pipettes from Amazon (like a lifetime supply lol) and they are terrific for measuring and dispensing the Bubly drops into a 1 liter bottle. All you have to do is measure the proper amount for your bottle/glass, once and then after that, just fill the pipette to the same spot and get the right amount every time. The pipettes have proven to be useful for other things related to measuring and dispensing small amounts of liquid.

While the lime flavor is tolerable, the other ones are disgusting. I don't understand why anyone would use these over a small dash of real fruit juice.
