Have owned this projector since earlier this year. Phenomenal image quality. Use it primarily for movies but do some gaming with Xbox series X using the low lag setting without issues.

How much difference you see compared to tv ... In other words if someone sees the screen and they don't know it is projector , will it feel just like tv?

I mean the screen itself is really nice. Obviously as it's still a projector if you have a bunch of sunlight coming in it won't be as clear as a TV set would be but when it's in a darker room it's amazing. The image quality is extremely good running 4k content and using a surround sound is amazing via eARC
I've been heavily researching projectors the last 6 months. This is a great price, especially with the ambient light rejecting screen. Which makes a huge difference in image brightness.

Reminder that at a hundred inches you are getting within spitting distance of actual TVs when they are on sale (ala https://slickdeals.net/f/17643867-hisense-100-u70n-qled-tv-100-google-play-gc-5-yr-warranty-costco-2099-98?p=172003557#post172003557 from Costco from a bit ago.) the downside of laser projectors is you can never replace the lamp so they have a set lifespan of at least 2 years (warranty length). Also if you are comparing TVs vs projectors note that 2700 lumens for a pj is really quite bright and is the equiv of 788 nits (divide by 3.426 to go lumens to nits.)
Note I say this as a person who has used projectors for the last ~18ish years but as I'm only at 100", I will be migrating to a TV due to the *way* better black levels and the ability to have pretty much full brightness without blocking out all the light sources of the room (I'm about 12-24 months away from swapping, but if the Hisense u8 or equivalent drops into the two grand range I will jump ship earlier 💜)
Edit: should also point out that unlike other laser projectors (and the TV I linked) this is a 4k@ 60 hz projector according to the specs at the mfg website (they may have made a mistake as 60 HZ does not require HDMI 2.1 which this projector has 🤷) https://www.hisense-usa.com/telev...k-laser-tv

Having used a 125" screen for the past 4 years, I don't think I can go back to 100" even if it's a little brighter. I wish they would throw in the 120" ALR screen instead.

I have a LG Cx Oled 77 inch wondering if this is an upgrade over what I currently have.
Can I use this type of projector with a traditional screen in a dark basement? I have a Da-Lite acoustically transparent 96" screen that fits my short wall perfectly with front speakers flanking it I have my center speaker in the window alcove behind the screen. If yes to first question- how much do you think I can I get for the included screen?

Have you dealt with 3d projectors? I have a old Mitsubishi 3d dlp TV with a bad dlp chip, and I'm looking at something that would do 3d and it seems like projectors are the only option but I don't want to have to replace one every 2 years.

The last several (until my current emergency replacement PJ) of my Epson projectors were 3D, but due to supply issues (and apparently customer interest) Epson has largely moved away from 3D and have discontinued their active rf glasses and I think most PJs in the marketplace have also moved away from it. The rise in passive viewing while looking at a cell phone have largely killed the demand for 3D projectors since you cannot wear 3D glasses and surf so you really don't have a lot of choices if you want to keep 3D viewing as an option. One thing you could do is get a refurbished 3D compatible projector to pull out when you want to do movies (like the $630 https://epson.com/Certified-ReNew...1H709020-N which comes with a two-year warranty).
It's worth noting that the newer laser projectors from Epson and Hisense (including this one) don't support 3D either as by and large there's no 4k 3d support, don't quote me on this but I think any reasonably affordable projector that does 4K will only do 3D in 1080p, and they are definitely in the minority. (Because I don't really do 3D since I am one of those people who has a habit of looking at my phone while watching TV/movies I don't have another suggestion outside of that cheap Epson. I will say one upside of doing the refurb Epson option is lamps are quite cheap for it.)
