Unless they've fixed it, I've tried two of these a few years ago and they both were garbage. One worked for like ~100GB and then slowed down to usb speeds and then stopped working. The other one just didn't work. Both of them made a terrible squeaking noise when you open and closed them that actually made me want to die. I can still hear & feel that noise and it makes me cringe.

I 100% could have just gotten 2 bad units, so YMMV.

I bought this on August 7th for $17.09, just got it setup as a dashcam storage device and is working well. Like lots of items here they're regularly on sale.

I bought a few of these in 2021. Those only supported full-sized cards because there were no mounting holes for them. Fortunately, the tightness of the enclosure holds them in place, but it's not confidence-building.

Do the current ones have extra mounting holes for the smaller SSD card sizes?

I've had one of these for a couple of years with no issues.

I bought this 2 years ago, it's worked with every ssd size and drive I've tried. I mostly use it to flash drives/operating systems very intermittently, no long term sustained use. It does make a chalk on the keyboard sound from the enclosure scraping every time you open it.

I have one of these, works OK, as long as the integrated heat speader on your NVMe is thin enough. I could not get my new Patriot Viper NMVe in it. My older Sabrent one juuuust fit.
