- Click the OP's link.
- Select your local store in the top left of the screen.
- Look at the prominently displayed online price ($29.88) for this item in the top right of your screen.
- If, and only if, the item is on clearance at your selected store then directly below the price you will see a link that states "See In-Store Clearance Price". You will not see that link if that store does not have the item on clearance.
- If you can see that link then click it to see the clearance price at that specific store. You can also see the inventory level for the item displayed in the "At Your Store" box.
I tried this for over a dozen Home Depot stores in south Florida, and all but two had the item on clearance. The majority had a clearance price of $15.04, but several had the OP's clearance price of $7.52.
Downvoting this post is ridiculous. It's offering a really slick deal (~75% off a Milwaukee product!) where you can determine whether the item is on clearance at your local Home Depot before leaving your home. And you don't even need Brickseek to do that.
That said, there is obviously no guarantee that you will be able to actually get your hands on the item even if the Home Depot web site says it is in stock on clearance. Their web site is notorious for displaying inflated inventory levels, so I'd be very wary if you see that your selected store only has 1 or 2 of the item in stock. Maybe you can still get it, but don't assume that you can.
I can understand why some may downvote posts where you have to visit the store and go to the clearance section to see if the deal is actually available to you. But this deal isn't like that.
When I think YMMV, I'm thinking you have a chance of getting something due to unique circumstances, and the outcome can be either the discount or nothing. Things like: the store is set to be closed down and the info isn't public, you bought exactly 3 screws 12 days ago to qualify, the discount only applies if the salesperson that helped you was named Dan, etc.
The YMMV posts here are basically, "If it's not out of stock." That applies to almost every deal - can't get a discount if the item isn't in stock.
A couple weeks ago, I was at HD and vaguely remembered a YMMV post that brought a $200 thing down to $75 (similar clearance situation to this). It was a at least a week old deal, but I decided to take a quick look. The shelf labels had a different price, but when the employee scanned it, it was still $75. Got $300 worth of stuff for $150 because for that YMMV post.
So, yeah, keep the YMMV posts coming.

I checked 2 stores near me. One has the regular price, the other is $7.52. I can not confirm is the latter had physical stock. HD's stock accuracy sucks.
I checked a 3rd store near me...$15 & change.

I suspect they do markdowns like this regionally or something. Either way, it's very unreliable in my experience.
