Second, you probably skipped the part where Wendell (the YouTuber you linked to) stated that there are few cases where the new chips outperform their previous-gen comparables (not the 7800X3D) in Linux gaming, and those few cases come with lots of caveats. (Which is what I was paraphrasing in my previous comment.)
PS: My goal was not to single you out or point out that you were wrong. I was genuinely asking for reputable sources that informed your claim that these new chips wiped the floor with the 7800X3D when gaming in Linux—which is what I was inferring from your comment, considering the context. Because I hadn't seen any such claims from the outlets that I know of.

Trying to patiently wait on this antiquated 7700k/1080Ti desktop build from 7 years ago. First time I haven't upgraded in 1-2 year cycles since the mid 90s, and it has been strange for sure. Intel just offered nothing, and Ryzen was lacking until zen2 onward.
PS: I've looked around, but there's nothing to suggest what you claimed, other than a few potential exceptions with a lot of caveats.
