If buying with InstaCart make sure to get the GC from Costco first, $80 for $100 worth, and you can get 2 of them; effectively offsetting the higher instacart price vs the in warehouse price.

I think RTINGS [rtings.com] has a decent summary of the differences between the C3 and C4

I just snagged an open box returned 48" C3 for the bedroom for $797 from Bestbuy…absolutely thrilled…hung it up today. I love OLEDs, I have a 77" G2 in the living room and 65" CX in the basement and never watched tv in the bedroom, I had a garbage 40" insignia from 2014

4 new-in-box units + 1 display unit available in Costco Shoreline, WA this evening.

Was tempted to get since I never find these Costco YMMV deals in my Costco ever and this is the first time I found one - but wasn't ready to downgrade to a smaller panel despite how vivid it was. Might be a good option for a bedroom TV or as an extra-large work monitor.

But man, those crisp colors on that OLED panel...

My local Costco had 2 left in stock since I picked one up. I was waiting for Costco to starts selling the 42", but couldn't say no to this deal. I managed to mount it (w/o help) on my heavy duty vesa desk mount as a pc monitor. Its just way too big for my liking, and I much preferred the 42" C2 I used to have. Hopefully Costco starts selling the C4 42" within 90days of my return window for the same price. Also, no dead/stuck pixels on mine!

I have a 42 inch lg oled c3 in my bedroom and I think it's the perfect size. 48 inch would be too large for the bedroom imho.

Yeah, you want to get a smaller TV in the bedroom so other things look bigger, relatively.

Costco will not be getting the 42", there is no market for it at costco.

This is not a YMMV deal, this is a company markdown for warehouses. The usual YMMV are deals where one a certain store that is not moving the item gets a mark down. This is a markdown for all warehouses.

My 48" C3 runs true 4K meaning 4096 x 2160 so this must be capable of more then the UHD as posted.
What are you on about?

I think what they are getting at is that normally TVs are 4K UHD, which is 3840 × 2160 with a16:9 aspect ratio.

4096 × 2160 is DCI 4K, what movie theaters normally project at. So if their display resolution is correct, they technically they are right, the TV is capable of greater than UHD, but for almost everyone the difference is not noticeable.

I went with the Bestbuy deal for the LG 48 B4 for $799 because I could not justify the extra $100 for the C4 version in a bedroom.
I believe if you buy Instacart GC at 20% off from Costco, you can snap this at $730 before tax.

I've never tried curved, but this is mainly for productivity, and I like my flat monitors--have a 42" TV at my home office and a 32" at work.
Curved is a game changer for productivity (I do zero gaming & switched back around 2018/2019 and could never go back to a flat monitor again).

At the same time, OLED (due to burn-in risk and text rendering difficulties) is generally not ideal as a primary monitor for productivity use either.
