This is the good one, the thermal carafe version. I bought one in the last slick deal out went on sale. Great, great Brewer! Worth every penny.

Have owned this unit for 6-7 years now. One time I descaled the machine then ran a full tank of water thru it. Forgot about the water. Poured it out 16 hours later and the water was still hot enough that it could scald my hand. That's how effective the thermal carafe is.
