However, I noticed on the 6gb, it wouldn't let me add a trade for anything above the s5e. I switched to the 8gb and it let me trade in the s6. Then it let me switch back to the 6gb for $95.
Samsung's website is hot garbage. We recently bought appliances directly from them and the entire process was torture. Long story but I won't buy appliances direct from them ever again.

However, if you have the regular S6 the screen on S9FE is worse (TFT LCD instead of OLED) and the CPU is more or less the same grade. So from S6 to S9FE would only give you more up to date software and more years of security and software updates.
If you have S6 Lite not S6 then it would be a good deal.
However I love mine (S9+) especially because of the form factor movies/etc fill the screen much better because the aspect ratio is taller than ipads. There are apps (just like apple) that will irritate you forcing portrait and a find that more frequently than I did w/ Apple.
I moved from an ipad because of some ridiculous samsung trade in offer and free keyboard/pen, I would not pay full price for it. My phone is now Samsung so you can sometimes watch for crazy phone/tablet deals that is probably the way to go.
