Sonos software is shit right now, I recommend you guys to vote with your $
Thats not a good solution. Sonos is supposed to be ease of use, but now they've ruined it. I'm am somewhat tech savvy, but even I am frustrated and cannot get new devices added.

I would not buy another Sonos item until the road map of fixes is done and even then, I would wait to see how the user experience and reviews are.

Combined with the 5% back Amazon card, I think this is the lowest I've seen for this mini Sub. I added one to my Beam Gen2 last year and its a huge improvement. In my ~13x18 foot media room it hits hard for its size.

This price matches Prime Days where you might've been able to score 6 or 7% back.

Basically the new low for this item, hoping to see it lower on Black Friday

I've had my Sonos setup for months with no issues. It depends on your WiFi capabilities with the new app. If the new app gives you issues, then just use any of the multiple third party apps that work just as well.

You just don't get it Sonos has an app problem that has been proven and admitted from Sonos…NOT AN INTERNET PROBLEM!!

Strange I haven't had any issues. Not advocating to buy speakers because this problem seems pretty widespread, but I have 10 speakers total (2 rooms with full sonos "5.1", bedroom with a Beam, and rando dining room speaker). 3 of the 10 are Ikea Sonos (IMO best bang for the buck hands down).. and haven't had one issue.

Granted I don't mess with the app. I only ever open it to set something up. I did notice the UI is jacked because it's all about streaming music vs. managing your speakers.

I will say that this little subwoofer is pretty good. I have the full sizes Sonos Sub with an Arc soundbar in my main TV viewing room, and then I have a Beam with this mini sub in the living room. For everyday normal viewing I find that the mini sub is more than adequete. My living room is in an open floorplan and TBH putting it on max settings is a disturbance to the rest of the house.

Anything short of "I'm going to watch the Directors Cut remaster 4K extended edition on f'n volume 11" type of experience, i think this is a great sub that's super discrete.

Sonos owner of many generations of their products for 15 years. No issues other than they indeed jacked up the new app a bit. They'll fix it.

Talk about karma; they sued Google to try and monopolize the entire market for grouping speakers as if it's a genius invention. Their stupidly & negligently authorized patent got reversed: https://www.theverge.com/2023/10/...-out-alsup

Moving devices to a new network is an absolute disaster, done it a few times and every single time it takes reading multiple reddit posts, googling useless error codes, and uninstalling/unauthenticating for a device to be added. Once it's setup I have no issue but I would never recommend their products.
