How you find out this sale is happening on 8.26, in 3 more days on Monday? it's not on the dell website homepage. And not in the email newsletter for customers. What source did you find this deal?

Yeah when all you want to do is surf the web, but then I can get a tablet for $300-400 that's just as fast when it comes to noticeable compared to synthetic bench marks.
Anyone paying $1000 for a snap dragon laptop needs to get their head examined, this is no better than a low cost chromebook and it has the same uses.
You're very ignorant about the new chip brother. Study it. Apple makes both mobile and laptop processors. Same wise there are different Qualcomm Snapdragon chips for laptops these days and they can run AI models on the device.

Curious what percentage of consumers are really using AI. Everything I read says while "AI" is seen everywhere, it's more a buzzword than an everyday tool for everyone.
Regarding AI models, how well does that work on a 16GB/512GB laptop?

More shenanigans from Dell when trying to switch to OLED -- apparently Dell thinks you need their overpriced 32GB upgrade too. So to get OLED, it's an extra $500.

I'm skeptical of the whole "AI laptop" buzz. It seems like most of the really cool stuff is not going to run effectively on a machine with only 16GB of RAM and a mobile processor, even if it is a relatively fast mobile processor. And the cut down models that are likely to run well on that hardware probably don't need any special hardware anyway.

Yes...I've yet to see any comparisons of doing "AI stuff" on a laptop like this vs a higher end previous gen or even older that would explain WHY I need a Snapdragon laptop. So far, it's just a bunch of marketing.
