I just picked this up from Fairfax MC and got it setup. Coming from a Lenovo 32" 1440p 75hz curved display, I am blown away. Very bright, very vivid color representation - basically looks as good as OLED in my opinion. Silky smooth framerates at 180hz in gaming (with my 3070) - the difference in the gaming experience is unreal. Text is clear, everything looks good. My unit had no quality issues with regards to trapped dust or dead pixels. Best of all, I took advantage of their $25 off $100 "new customer coupon", so I got it at $225 + tax. Very slick deal!

400nits for those wondering. Seems like a pretty nice monitor.

Ive personally been eyeing something like a 42" LG C3 or C4. Id rather have a huge 16:9 screen than an ultrawide.

Nice monitor, just got it 2 days ago for 365. I'll be buying and returning. Haven't tried it for gaming yet.

Looks like a solid deal and an upgrade for most. I'd buy except I need a monitor with USB C DP alt mode for a MacBook Pro. So probably a M34WQ.

I honestly thought that curved monitors and TVs was just a gimmick that failed. Don't see it in TVs much anymore more, right?
it has its place with ultrawides since you sit close to a pc monitor and it's so wide, the curve helps your neck. many ultrawides are va panel which also benefit from the curve with its poorer on average viewing angles . but for 16:9 most scenarios it's largely pointless/ a negative imo,

Just curious, you using this for productivity currently? Love to hear your thoughts as that's what I'd be using it for. Thanks!

This won't work with a MacBook Pro?

Im looking to buy one to use with my MacBook Pro but not sure which one would work.

wish lg b series was cheaper than just a few hundred lower

those panels amazing but not sure if c series worth the premium cause it's still an oled and with VRR

For sure personal preference and I agree with you for gaming, movies, etc.

But for productivity I've found that physically and in resolution (2160) 4k, large screens (42"+) are just "too much". I think the sweet spot is in that 1440 - 1600 px range. My neck can swivel left and right all day long but not so much up and down for a full work day. BUT I've got buddies and colleagues who love a 4k, 42" monitor for work.

This looks like a very solid deal? How good is this VA panel for productivity??? Aka text?

Nah, they're pretty popular from my experience. They provide a bit more of an immersive feel (not sure if mostly placebo or truly helpful). I personally love a curved display.
