50 bucks cheaper than the previous deal posted last week.
Is the build quality of the Slim Pro about the same as the Thinkpad P-series or better or worse?
Reading reviews on BestBuy for this model, people mostly love it, but the Achilles heel is the battery -- many complain it's only 3-5 hours. But I'd sure like to see that mini-LED screen and compare to an OLED.
2 Year Allstate warranty is good, assuming they stay in business.

Def an awesome screen but battery life isn't the greatest, but she's a creator and plugs in almost all the time
This sentiment from post above is accurate " port selection is extremely disappointing for a 2023 laptop. I expected two UCB-C ports. This thing only have 1! in 2023! Lenovo put two UCB-C ports in the 14.5" version, but only one in the 16" version...
The SD card reader is also UHS-I"
Real complaint that I agree with

Purchased last week, same link. It was 1049 with 8% off from the seller and a 10% eBay coupon.
I think it was like $865 ish plus tax.
Should be here Thursday
Fingers crossed
Mine arrived with a dead USB-C. It actually looks physically damaged, like something slightly melted in there.
Seller will not exchange.
Only return for refund. Its significantly more expensive now.
They suggested using the warranty to fix it. But I'm worried it will be denied since either its too soon, or they will say its physically broken.
Anyone have experience with these allstate warranties?

Seller said use the warranty... I filed a claim and it was immediately declined.
Returning it. Bummer, it seems to be a great laptop and runs the software i needed it to just fine.

Did you try to see if the Lenovo warranty is still active on it? Wonder if they may offer another replacement refurb through the warranty. Allstate warranty would probably only repair or refund. I got a refurb Thinkbook from this seller last week and it had full year of onsite Lenovo warranty available.

I did check, it did NOT have a factory warranty.
I suppose i could have waited 3-4 months and then tried to warranty it, but literally the seller told me to resolve it that way.

Seems like a sketchy seller sorry that happened to you
