They can keep their subs at those prices. They act like they're the only game in town. Got myself Klipsch rp1400sw and haven't looked back. Sold off my old 10" SVS which was amazing sub but just wasn't sufficient my room size.
Picked up one as well, and the damn thing rattles whe whole house and can be heard outside. Rather large but damn it hits.

For mid bass, PB2000 Pro for $899 or Hsu ULS-15 MK2 for $939? I also checked RSL 12s but heard mixed opinion.

I'll put in a vote for the PB2000

The 10E hasn't been independently tested. I called RSL and results from a third party reviewer should be released soon though.

Here are most of the subwoofer test results all in one spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...sp=sharing

I was waiting for the 10E results when I found the used PB-1000 Pro for $180.

Edit: Apologies, I noticed this was linked later in the thread.

for HSU add minimum shipping charge of $100, its not included in the price you mentioned.
I vote for SVS PB2000 if you can tolerate the size.
Also warranty on electronics 5yrs on SVS compare to 2yr on others

SVS is the greatest home audio company that exists today, and the sale is great! I've been pushing 2 SB16 Ultra's for years now and think I'll add two more from the sale.

People complaining about the price have probably never had to deal with customer service.. SVS isn't just a simple purchase, you also get world-class customer service that I've never experience from any other company, audio or not.
I concur, their service is top notch.

I saw that. I can't argue against it's retail price and value. But its accuracy is sub-par, and it's crap below 30Hz.

For speakers and subs, I recommend Slickdealers buy used instead of new, IF they live inside a strong used market. They'll get way more value for their money.

There have been so many great subs released in the last 15 years, and they go for pennies on the dollar used. Most last for decades. Just find one that suits your needs in the spreadsheet I posted and find it used.
Absolutely agree with you on buying used. I'm in SOCAL. Two months agoI picked up a used PB13 Ultra in excellent condition for $350 and last week I picked up a gloss pb4000 still in the plastic for $1075. Used is the best bang for your buck

Damn, which part of SoCal? I'm in LA and haven't seen crazy deals like that and I have alerts on OfferUp and facebook

Not that I can even take advantage of a sub when I live in an apt and my currently kef r11s produce enough bass as is, but I could also buy a nice one and turn it way down!

I have a PB 1000 non-pro, and since they don't really sell them anymore, does the PB 1000 pro match well with it if I decide to upgrade my setup?

I didn't see why not.
But I'd just call SVS directly. They're easy to talk to.
