Thank you. are you getting wifi above 500mpbs with this build ?
Yes, with mesh I'm getting close to 1gbps (within the mesh). The speed you get totally depends on your environment and your mesh set up (channel selection, width, etc). You will need to do a trial and error to figure out the best settings. My recommendation is to start with the lytr build (since the binaries are already available), and once you have everything set up to your liking, sysupgrade to qosmio.

can you link to qosmio's build?

i accidentally flashed both partition with incomplete stock fw and it is bricked. Is it possible to unbrick it and is there a guide onto how? worst case i can open the unit for serial pin access.

Only way to recover now via serial access I believe. Check on OpenWrt mx4300 forum

There's also a hidden Advance Wireless Settings menu that the LN1301's Web GUI supports. If you add "advanced-wireless.html" after the "/dynamic/" in the LN1301's web address you can access it. (IE 192.168.?.??/ui/1.0.99.215382/dynamic/advanced-wireless.html) The settings there are well beyond my limited understanding of networking though so I would recommend leaving them alone for now
Thanks for sharing this, I have no clue what most of these settings do but it's good to know.

My order from August 29 is still not shipped. Shows the same "Shipping Now" status.

I had placed another order from Woot via Amazon, and it was shipped within 24 hours via UPS Ground. Wonder why fulfilments of direct Woot orders are delayed.
Wished I had ordered from Amazon instead of Woot. Sure, a couple of bucks more, but would at least get the product instead of hanging in no-man's land.

I haven't been having this problem. DNS maybe?
Weird. I was finally able to log in on Chrome on my tablet and now I can log in on my PC Chrome. Not sure what it was.

I have a few questions about the stock firmware and security.

1. Do I want to disable UPNP?
2. Do I want to disable wireless admin access? My PC is wired to the router.
3. For wifi setting what security mode do and wifi mode do I want to select?

Are there any other security setting I should change. I changed the router name/SSID and wifi password.

I've been using qosmio's version without issues. You have to build it yourself, there is no binary out there unlike lytr's.
Can you share link to lytr and/or qosmio? Couldn't find it with Google search, thanks.

1. disable UPNP
2. it is okay to leave it on. just make sure to change the password (by default it has same password as original wifi password from bottom of router)
3. Change wifi encryption to wpa2/wpa3.
