Laptop is built pretty well in my opinion, top lid is aluminum but rest is study plastic; It is basically a goddamn tank; and the powerbrick is the biggest brick I've ever seen, though the brick does run very cool I noticed.
Thermals are pretty decent, I expected a little more considering it has a vapor chamber and liquid metal but I bet Alienware's LiquidMetal is crap compared to the traditional conductonaut and etc. But from what I've seen it is applied quite well and the thermal system is nickel plated so that'll help it last quitee awhile. Oh and one more important thing; Dell turned on 'Undervolt Protection' which means you are basically never going to undervolt it unless you do some sketchy ass edit to the BIOS code and hopefully not brick your system...
Serviceability is a mixed bag, it is extremely easy to open up and add ram + storage, but the motherboard is flipped so to clean the fans either you are removing the entire motherboard or blowing compressed air and hoping it's enough.
Software support has been pretty good, Dell somehow even released the 129 microcode update faster than most manufacturers.
LMK if anyone has any questions other than battery life, because don't expect it to last longer than 3 hours
