Great laptop pulled down by a bad screen and soldered RAM. 45% NTSC Coverage and 300-nits at 60hz is unacceptable for anything other than an entry level budget laptop.

How would you rate this Lenovo vs this Dell (available in used good condition) for casual gaming and overall longevity - https://www.bestbuy.com/product/d...10/openbox

I like that the Dell has a dedicated graphics card, but not sure about its Evo 13700H chip with all the issues Intel has been having lately. Any thoughts?

Your mileage may vary, but that Dell has a much brighter, much more color accurate OLED panel.

I wouldn't anticipate great battery life off of the charger with the 13th gen i7 and Dell has notorious reliability issues with their high end laptops.

Personally, I'd recommend checking out Lenovo's Slim Pro 7 line. You'll get a 6GB RTX 3050, you'll have a screen with a higher refresh rate, and you'll get great battery life if you get the AMD variant.
