Everyone has moved on from this machine to the new Slushie unit, lol.
I haven't, in for one.
Bless Ninja for coming up with adult toys like a home frozen margarita machine. The slushie machine is very cool, but it's needs to go refurb on Woot, I ain't paying $300 for it. $150, maybe.

People are scalping the Slushie on Facebook and Nextdoor around where I live. Hilarious. All I heard is that you need copious amounts of sugar to make the slushies the right consitency.
I'm still waiting for this to go on sale at Costco or more minimal kit from somewhere else. Way too much risk buying a refurb from woot for something like this.

We use a refractometer at work for alcohol slushies. It needs to be between 13-15 brix which is 13-15% sugar.

Just buy it now and have them price adjust if it goes on sale, that's what I'm doing lol. I'm mad I didn't get it sooner, tastes better than super market ice creams and has infinitely better macros, the thing is magical
I've bought other woot refurb "scratch and dent" ninja stuff and it all has came in basically brand new condition. For $40 more dollars brand new at Costco is def the play though. They had the lesser model for $70 the other month on woot but I missed it

They only let you price match for 30 days. Unless you're going to buy it again and then return that one and then try to get them to credit the more expensive purchase from months prior?

They have always just price adjusted for me no questions asked, didn't even realize there was a 30 day limit, I just did it on tremontina pans I got from 2 months ago. Guess they just do it on good will for me or don't want people buying another/returning it or the old one again. Never tried past 3 months though
It's end of summer so chances are if it's going to go on sale at all it may be soon anyways.

If you want the Ninja Slushi to be $150 (half the retail price) when it has been sold out for months then you will be waiting until 2030 to get your unit.
Also while Ninja has good products, their quality control and reliability is terrible.
Why take a risk buying a refurbished unit? That's like buying an unreliable car that has been used.
Maybe there are items worth buying on Woot, this isnt one of them

It may be popular now, but I won't be shocked if it's available as a refurb within a year. Also, I would take the chance if it were offered by Woot. The worst that could happen is I have to return it.
Is this really a deal? Woot sold this twice brand new for $119, it only had one cup but $139 for a refurbished unit isn't a deal. Kohls even offered this brand new for $150 with $30 Kohl's cash back. I would rather just spend a little bit extra and get a new unit.
