A medium blizzard is $7 where I live. These days I just go to Cook-Out and get a shake.

Never buy something that mimics ice cream, unless it's sold as 'ICE CREAM'... Ice Cream has specific legal definitions. 'Blizzard' and such is just a code word for 'chemicals and additives'.
Anyone avoiding "chemicals" would just starve to death or die of thirst. Watch out for that H20 in your bathroom

Also you do realize real / legal ice cream almost always have artificial flavorings including HFC and other ultra processed compounds right?

Artificial flavorings and sweeteners can be easily avoided, you've just got to pay a couple dollars more, e.g. https://www.tillamook.com/product...olate-chip

Is online ordering actually supported anywhere? There's not one single DQ in the Houston area I can find where I can use the app.
Dairy Queen in Texas has their own app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dq-...1014549103

If you already knew this and you can't find a DQ that participates in that app, then you have my sympathy ☹️

And it's not even real ice cream. 1/2 a smashed up cookie and some soft serve mixed up in a shot glass sized cup for that ridiculous price. But they hold it upside down so that makes it all worth it.
Hey if you don't like it, that's cool. But plenty of us do. I have never had a problem with the amount of toppings mixed in. Yeah it's not as cheap as it was 5 yrs ago. Thanks for that because I wouldn't have guessed since EVERYTHING is more expensive than it was 5 yrs ago. It's sucks. But I'm not dead. Am I suddenly supposed to stop eating? Just stay inside and shrivel up into a roly poly and die? No thanks.

Incredible. I can get two 3 pint containers of ice cream from a chain called Braum's near me. Fresh A2 dairy and cream too, their dairies are within 300 miles of the store too!

Blend that up with a splash of milk and you have at least 4-5 high quality shakes. Easier than driving and going inside nad sitting in line too.

The Dairy Queen near me is even more egregious- they want $8 for a blizzard

I just recently found out the national DQ App doesn't work at all at any DQ locations in TX. Texas has their own designated DQ app that they'll accept. And in TX DQ App it's only 1 day for BoGo

My local DQ lets you add stuff to your cart and when you go to checkout, it fails. The app used to be "not supported" and wouldn't even let you select the location. I guess they were forced to show up as an available restaurant but just found another way to make it fail at checkout. Never tried the app anywhere else but I order food on apps almost every day.

I like Del Taco mini shakes. $2.29 in my area and not that many calories because it's small

Thank you so much!!! I wasn't aware there was a Texas specific app, and it was driving me nuts. The DQ by the house and the one by the office don't use the app, but pretty much every other one in between does.

I'm jealous. We don't have Cook-Out in PA. Fell in love with it in NC

Warren Buffet owns DQ and his companies tend to max price. Some DQ have closed from slowing business.
